12/10/2009   iCrossing is OMMA Magazine's 2009 Search Agency of the Year

I have some great news - OMMA Magazine has just announced that iCrossing has been selected as 2009 "Search Agency of the Year". OMMA has several categories for the Agency of the Year awards. The Gold and Silver categories each recognize one agency, while the Bronze category has awards for Web Design and Development, Search, Media Buying and Planning, and Creative.
 
This recognition is the capstone to an outstanding year. The Agency of the Year awards are, OMMA says, for "the agencies that were able to rise above the rest over the past year, the shops that represented the best of class in the online advertising community." That pretty much sums up iCrossing, doesn't it? You have all worked hard to earn this well-deserved recognition, and I want to thank every member of the worldwide iCrossing team for helping to bring us so far.
 
The OMMA recognition substantiates my view that we are successfully using our strength in search to propel us toward our vision of building connected brands. We use search to inform our work in all digital channels including Web development, social media and display to create truly connected brands. I believe this unique "search-informed" strategy made a clear distinction between iCrossing and other nominees in the OMMA competition.

In my mind, however, what truly distinguishes iCrossing is our people. We wouldn't receive this kind of recognition if we didn't have the most innovative and dedicated group of people I have ever had the honor to be associated with.

Please accept my enthusiastic congratulations and heartfelt thanks on this latest achievement.
